  1. Hello Jen
I popped over here from Mary's blog!
Delighted to find you and looking forward to reading some info on natural diets for dogs. That is amazing that you can feed a dog a whole chicken half...and raw.
This is a whole new concept.
Do you not have to worry about the bones in the chicken breast?
Do you recommend the long bully sticks?
    Also...what about ziggies?
Thanks for sharing so much info!

  2. hi! glad you found the blog!

    ok,
    1. If you are just discovering raw, I'd recommend you start here:
    http://rawfed.com/myths/bones.html
And read through the other myths. It helps you understand why raw feeders believe in what they feed, 110%! Feel free to ask away, in fact you can email me if you'd like, shibaslave@gmail.com

    2. I definitely feed bully sticks of all sizes, but not too often.

    3. I had to google ziggies. Are they the kong treat? Per their ingredient listing:
    http://www.kongcompany.com/ziggies/ingredients.html
Wheat Gluten, Vegetable Glycerin, Chicken Liver, Alfalfa Concentrate: A Natural Source of Chlorophyll, Powdered Cellulose Fiber, Mono and Diglycerides of Edible Fatty Acids, Magnesium Stearate, Calcium Carbonate, Parsley, Titanium Dioxide, Sodium Metabisulfite, Tocopherols: Vitamin E.

I like the chicken liver and alfalfa, but I feed them singularly within the raw diet, without all these extra fillers!
